Our company was founded by a sero-discordant couple who have struggled with accessing HIV care.
Leadership Team
Our Leadership team is made up of people who represent under-resourced communities.
The inspiration for Continuud was born from their experiences accessing HIV-related health services. Richard had been diagnosed with HIV in 2011 while living in a small rural community, and he encountered numerous financial and institutional barriers to accessing the care he needed. Similarly, Nathan attempted to access services for testing and medication to prevent the contraction of HIV, but limited resources were available. Frustrated by their respective experiences, they decided to use their skills and experiences to create a solution.
To make healthcare more equitable and accessible, they developed innovative products to streamline care coordination, increase patient engagement, and connect patients with vital community-based resources that drive positive clinical outcomes. Over the years, Continuud has grown into an organization dedicated to improving healthcare access and patient outcomes through technology. The couple’s commitment to creating a more equitable healthcare system is guided by those it serves.
Today, Richard and Nathan remain very active as co-founders of Continuud, leading the company to continue its mission of providing innovative solutions that improve access to healthcare. They are passionate about using technology for good and strive to improve the world. Continuud’s solutions have been proven to positively contribute to improving health outcomes nationwide. The couple is proud of their impact and remains dedicated to ensuring that all people have access to quality health care.
